The check-in was smooth and our family loved the Junior Family Room with Patio. We enjoyed relaxing by the outdoor pool and the hot tub was a nice touch after a long day. One thing to note is that we had to wait a bit for towels, but overall, it was a fantastic stay! 😃

Great family-friendly atmosphere!

We stayed in a Standard Double Partial Ocean View room and our kids absolutely loved the indoor pool and playground, keeping them entertained late into the night. The food was tasty, with delicious pizza and poolside tacos at reasonable prices. The hotel is located just a short walk from Puerto Nuevo, making it super convenient to explore local dining and shops. One thing that could be improved is the timing of food service, as it closed relatively early at night.

I had the best time soaking in the indoor pool-it was so warm and perfect for the kiddos! The petting zoo was a hit, and we all loved getting up close with the animals while enjoying fine ocean views from the pool area. Plus, the pizza night was a total crowd-pleaser for the fam!

My stay here was made enjoyable by the friendly staff and the hotel's close proximity to the famous puerto nuevo lobster restaurants which are just a few steps away, as well as the beautiful Pikin Parque de Altura, perfect for relaxing walks and park views. it’s great for solo travelers like myself who want to explore with ease.

A Decent Family Getaway with Room for Improvement

We had an enjoyable two-night family vacation here, despite the few hiccups. The kids loved the pool, but it could use more lounge chairs. The room offered a nice view, though cleanliness was lacking. Consider dining out for better food options and avoid peak noise hours at the pool.

The oceanfront view was stunning, complemented by the indoor heated pool and glass-ceiling area. The property is expansive, but be prepared for the stairs if you're in a villa. Dining options were decent, with a more commercialized take on Mexican cuisine. some homemade flair would enhance the experience. Also, the location is conveniently close to fresh seafood spots.

The location of Puerto Nuevo Hotel & Villas is perfect, just a quick walk to the beach and nearby shops. The views from the room were stunning, especially watching the sunset over the ocean. The pools were well-maintained, and we had a great time relaxing by the bar. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which really made our stay enjoyable. However, we encountered some issues with our room. it was quite dated and could use a remodeling. The air conditioning wasn't great, and we had to run the water for a while before it got hot. The restaurant's food didn't impress us as much as we hoped, and service was a bit slow when we requested items. It felt frustrating at times, but overall, the fun we had exploring the area made up for the inconveniences.

The beach was right there, and the view from our room was fantastic. The kids loved the playground and the mini-zoo with baby animals. The staff was friendly and the indoor pool was a great option since we visited during spring. However, the restaurant only had a buffet and we found the beds a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it was a decent place for a family getaway.
